The story

Fucoxanthin is best known as the golden pigment of brown seaweeds. THALASSA explores a different natural source: the sea urchin, which feeds on these seaweeds and carries their carotenoids further along the marine food chain.

Within the sea urchin, dietary carotenoids are transformed into a complex of related compounds. THALASSA Fucoxanthin preserves this complex as nature builds it — the whole carotenoid system rather than one extracted pigment, a living model of marine biochemistry at work.
